We listen, act, and transform
Joanne M. Kingston, LCSW:
Welcome! My name is Joanne Kingston, and I am familiar with blocked potential and life’s stresses. I had suffered from anxiety for most of my life—everything from the daily hum of energy that clenched my stomach to full-blown panic attacks. I could sometimes use positive thoughts to calm myself. However, my body would not listen and would always “run away without me.” Over my 18 years as a licensed therapist, with experience in victim services, mental health, and hospice, I have learned techniques that I have successfully applied to my work with clients dealing with issues such as debilitating stress, fear of flying, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, pain, grief, low self-esteem, and lack of confidence. My clients enjoy a collaborative, personalized process reflecting their unique experiences and circumstances. My goal is to meet clients where they are, clarify their issues, discover their limiting beliefs, reinforce their strengths, and develop habits that will give them peace of mind and guide them to their desired path and success. Life can be difficult at times, and as you go through its many transitions, you can learn to ride the wave of life stresses without drowning in them. CURRENTLY HAS LIMITED OPEN AVAILABILITY.
